We have been learning all about Matariki. We created presentations and yesterday we had a god at using screencastify to add voice to them.

Once Upon an Alphabet

Our lack of posts this week is due to our preparation for this week's assembly! However we did some creative writing today based on the book by Oliver Jeffers - Once Upon An Alphabet.

Inquiry Presentation

We have been busy inquiring into natural disasters. We are learning how to demonstrate our learning in different ways. These groups decided to use iMovie.

Duffy Assembly @duffybooks #booksinhomes

Yesterday we had our first ever Duffy Hero Assembly. It was an awesome experience. The hero was Te Kohe Tuhaka, a NZ actor. He was a great speaker and he taught us a lot about the importance of reading. Here are some of the highlights from the assembly.
