We had a fantastic day of learning with Mr Dellow yesterday. He taught us a HUGE amount about disasters. He showed us this video of Rangitoto erupting and got us thinking about how we can plan and prepare ourselves for a disaster should we be faced with one.
We looked at this great website that has a lot of advice about preparing for disasters.

That's an excellent question Snedhal. What we are learning about is planning for natural disasters but we are spending the next few weeks learning about natural disasters so that we can plan for them.
