2016 Highlights

During the last few weeks of Term 4, R5 took some time to reflect on 2016. We realised what a great year we have all had and we all felt a little bit sad that our time together was coming to an end. As a class we created a presentation of our 2016 highlights.
Thank you to everybody who has visited our blog! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See ya next year.

Hi Lina! Remember me? Let me give you a few hints: I was in your class in 2014. All of the kids had fun together. Now do you know who I am? Good, you are right. I am Finley.

I'm 11 now and go to Room 13. Some of my friends from 2014 are there.

I also know lots about the planets. Yes, I'm interested in space now. Did you know that as of 2017, there are also 5 dwarf planets? Their names are Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.

I'm also interested in countries. Is Greenland really as big as all of Africa? Well, Africa is actually 14 and a half times larger! Wow! Find out more about the sizes of countries on TheTrueSize.com.

I'm also interested in maths! How many sides does a circle have? Zero? Well, it actually has one. The entire shape is a side. Also, a sideways eight means infinity.

I hope you reply to my comment!

Hello Finley! Of course I remember you. I still have the heart pillow that you gave to me when I left. WOW! I can't believe you are now 11. Thank you so much for always looking at the blogs I create and for commenting. I didn't know the names of the dwarf planets nor did I know how big Africa is in comparison to Greenland:)

I hope you are enjoying your holidays.
